I attended Theodore Roosevelt National Park's public elk meeting in Mandan last night. I thought the presentation and exhibits did a great job explaining the situation and why the park is offering the alternatives it is, and why a hunting alternative so many people turned out to support was, in fact, illegal. The tone was civil.
The last public elk meeting is tonight in Medora.

I continue to enjoy the photos at your other blog sites (TR, Glacier, Tanzania) -- please keep posting when you have the time.
Are the buffalo enjoying the snow this year? Will the pheasants survive? Other thoughts on this year's winter?
Arianna is my granddaughter -- I forgot I was signed in for her -- I help her with her website.
