My room is clean, the car is loaded and I'm going out the door! The leaves are falling off the trees thanks to the strong winds today. I hope I can harness wind power to make my drive more economical today.
Yesterday, we saw a huge group of mountain bluebirds in the meadow here, at least 20 birds. I thought, "I've never seen so many in one place before!" The next time I drove by, I saw a juvenile kestrel in a tree eating one of the bluebirds. The kestrel must have thought the same thing I did.
